Moe is the epitome of idiot slimebag, mean, bully, brainless vertebrate, and overall jerk. His character is rather shallow, being the guy who bullies Calvin. He clearly has low self-esteem, and he shaves. Bill Watterson says he is based on every bully he has ever known, and he speculates that they spawn on damp locker room floors.
